Woven yellows, oranges and golds and covered in silk floral embroidery. Equally beautiful in the salon or the boudoir to add some unique luxury to your decor, or perhaps given as the ultimate new home or a thoughtful wedding gift with this one-of-a-kind vintage piece.
Only one made, it is therefore totally unique and is hand crafted by cleverly upcycling part of a vintage silk Japanese wedding garment, dating from the Mid-Showa period (40+ years old). The front is a woven brocade with a myriad of auspicious symbols in silk and gilt thread and the reverse is made from the authentic original silk lining of the garment in lucky red.
You will receive the Hunted and Stuffed Guide To Symbols In Japanese Textiles free with your order. The throw comes in a presentation box.
